“It’s For the Birds”
Please join us!
On Sunday, February 25th 2018 from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM the Key West Wildlife Center will hold the fifth annual “It’s For The Birds” Fundraiser.
The event will be held at the West Martello Tower located at 1100 Atlantic Blvd. in Key West.
Tickets for the event are available now.
For a donation of $25 you can secure an advanced event ticket at the office of the Key West Wildlife Center at 1801 White Street in Key West.
Tickets are also available online with a donation of $25 per ticket at our website www.keywestwildlifecenter.org by pushing the Donate Button. Please type advanced event ticket in the “add special instructions to the seller” box. A confirmation email will be sent to you and your name will be added to the will call list. Online tickets will only be available until Friday, February 23rd 2018.
You can donate $30 at the door on the day of the event. No donation is requested for children under 10 years old.
Delicious food and drinks from local restaurants, resorts and businesses are complimentary for your donation. Activities will include a silent auction, raffles and live music. In addition, we will be bringing our educational ambassadors to give guests an ‘up close and personal’ wildlife experience. Featured in the silent auction will be a framed print of Kevin E. Peterson’s It’s For The Birds. We are proud to have the opportunity to honor Kevin for the original watercolor he graciously donated in the past.
All proceeds from this event will directly offset the cost of rescues, care and medical support for the many wild birds and wildlife we rescue annually. During 2017 the Key West Wildlife Center received and cared for over 1,600 wildlife patients.
The Key West Wildlife Center has been permitted to assist injured and orphaned wildlife as a non-profit 501 (c)3 organization for over twenty years. We are entirely dependent upon private donations, grants, corporate sponsorship and fundraising efforts to raise the money needed to continue our work. Proceeds from events such as “It’s for the Birds” allow us to provide quality food, medical care and rescue supplies for our wild patients.
Hope to see you there!
